Getting to Zero.....

December 1, 2011 is   World AIDS Day

A red AIDS awareness ribbon

The theme for World AIDS day this year is....."Getting to Zero"
What can YOU do? - Wear a red ribbon and raise awareness...

If you want to take your awareness raising a step further then try finding a local event to take part in. Around the world there are hundreds of activities taking place to mark World AIDS Day, including candlelight vigils, art shows, marches and religious services.  You also can try starting your own!

Look for our table of resources and Memory Ribbons at the Atrium 1st Floor or join us at the Atrium Amphitheater for a speaker/film presentation followed by a Q&A....

Also Housing Works Women's Health Center (57 Willoughby Street Basement) has opened their doors for City Tech students to get HIV rapid test from 9 - 3PM!  Results in 20 minutes and you get a free metro card.
